I don’t even know where to start. I’ve been selling on Amazon for a while, doing everything by the book. I offer real products, ship with FBA, maintain a clean account, and I treat every buyer with respect. But none of that mattered in the end.

A buyer named Janet Payne has been repeatedly purchasing the same item from my listing. Each time, she claims "performance or quality not adequate" — but never once returns the product, never files an A-to-Z, never goes through any official complaint route.

Instead, Amazon quietly refunds her. Every. Single. Time.

Here are just a few of her orders:

202-9518971-4398749

202-4264305-1225105

202-2093544-8173138

I submitted multiple cases to Seller Support, included full documentation, confirmed shipment, and BEGGED for help. Nothing. Janet got to keep the product and the money. Again.

Funny thing is, this janet doesnt even try to hide it, its the same profile, u can see 5 orders all refunded and they are ordering more and more. i cant cancel the order cz of fba. with fbm i dont get the buy box so i removed the listing completely....

Then it got worse.

Another buyer — Michelle Sadd — began doing the exact same thing. Same product. Same excuse. Same refund.

We called her number to try to sort things out… and who picked up the phone? The same voice as Janet Payne. She told us directly to stop selling this ASIN. This wasn’t just refund abuse anymore — it felt like harassment. Sabotage.

So what did I do? I refunded Michelle myself. Out of my own pocket. Because I didn’t know what else to do. I felt trapped.

And then... Amazon refunded Janet again. After everything. After all the evidence.

I asked for a refund reversal, for my ODR to be fixed, for help.

They said no.

They let her win.

They let me bleed.

And they don’t care.

I don’t know how a platform that preaches fairness and customer obsession can let abusive buyers run wild while hardworking sellers get trampled.

I’m writing this because I don’t want to be silent anymore. If this has happened to you — speak up.

If you know someone at Amazon who cares — show them this.

Because sellers like me are drowning in silence, and nobody is listening.

Fulfilment Costs EU
by Seller_tz5M9iHaTDZFk

UK based and we send stock to FR, though have vat numbers in EU4.

I cannot get my head around the fulfilment charges in various countries

Looking at the transaction view in Italy, sometimes Items are charged a fee for EFN fulfilment, other times 'domestic'.

The fact is we send stock only to France. And (alas) these items are not PAN EU (though they were). However. I thought EFN meant stock is kept in 1 country only (the country into which it was delivered).

However, if I am being charge a domestic rate for certain transactions elsewhere, stock must be held in that country (in this case italy) but I have not sent it there.

Logic tells me that Amazon must be moving stock around despitre not being PAN EU

As Shakespeare would have said when face with a similar, albeit Todor, conundrum

'It doth do'est mine head in'.

Has anyone seen this occur before (ie, EFN set up but domestic rates for certain transactions in other countries).

(NB we are VAT registered in EU4 , which means stock can be stored other than FR

Any comments welcome.

Amazon Overselling Products
by Seller_b1uMRg2cAnaOX

Recently I've noticed we're having more and more issues with Amazon selling more units than they are told is in stock. Does anyone else have this issue?! Any tips on how to stop it?! I'm getting tired of cancelling orders and getting bad reviews because Amazon decided to sell 12 units when there's only 10 available for example! Not happening on all lines, no specific routine for which items it's happening to either

Oddly written message
by Seller_540qgZMXuuXdD

Has anyone else had a message written like this?

"I need this item delivered by Friday 16th May 2025 at the very latest please. As a consequence of the delays already experienced, I have no alternative option at all. There has been plenty of time to fulfil and deliver the item, or to give me an honest response and sufficient time to find a replacement item."

It's so oddly written. I knew as soon as I started reading it that the customer was trying it on. Sure enough, the item was delivered, and the GPS was right outside his front door. The message reads like it was copied from a scammer's Facebook group or somewhere.

I was just curious if anyone else had received it.

Suspended
by Seller_WB7houTb6LEmY

Hello, I have a seller account that could not be verified successfully in the year 2021. The account was deactivated and later suspended. After writing several appeal's it could not be reactivated. That led me to open a new account to have my records counting by republishing the books I have on the closed account in North America but still not closed in UK due to the deactivation and suspended. The account was successfully verified but got deactivated due to the first account. In my previous account I was not owing seller fees when I closed it in North America. In the new account I paid up my seller fees and downgraded my seller account to individual plan. Now my seller fees has accruing while still on individual plan still rising but yeilding no returns.

I have written so many appeals to reactivate my first account so I can successfully close it and even get paid. Now I cannot even be able to log into the first account suspended in the year 2021 locked by Amazon website. I tried publishing many more books in the new account to enable reactivation of my suspended account till now. I am scared writing and publishing more books as it's not working for me. Please advise me on what to do to reactivate my first account deactivation and close it properly and get paid. Often I am receiving mail to update my credit card information for them to collect seller fees on my individual plan account.

Brand Approval Request for LEGO declined
by Seller_eFcgdjbBljfDu

I am attempting to get approval for Lego. Being new to this I initially provieded the wrong documentation. I believe I now have the correct documents however i am stuggling to get past this stage

We closed this case because you have submitted applications multiple times without providing new, updated, or required information. To appeal this decision, reply to this message and provide new documents for us to review. Do not submit a new application

There is nowhere to reply to the message to update the information required.

I am going around in circles

Hi ,

does anyone successfully found how to trace savings (discounts) when Amazon Recommended packing method" is used instead of single shipment.

Apparently there should be a discounts to FBA fees, however i use this for over 4 month, and did not found a single discount on any order, despite i should been saved over £3000 by using this.

Where it can be seens? Seller Support is completely profanic in this, they do not understand what it is and direct me to different places , like fee preview, new seller incentives etc, and also copy-paste the help pages.

Anyone had successfully traced any savings?

Amazonians, maybe you could advise?

by Seller_19xPhE8YgkmxW

Hello All,

If you want Automated handling time for your goods applied to your account you do not need to do anything.

If you prefer to have your opinion of your handling time used, you need to switch off the Automated handling time which has now been applied to your account

HOW TO REPORT TRADEMARK IPO ABUSE
by Seller_rfg8XDpdK2flw

Dear @Ezra_Amazon @Sarah_Amzn @Julia_Amazon @Spencer_Amazon,

We are seeing more of an abusive selling practice on Amazon. We have had a situation where a smaller seller has copied all of our images and patented them and then asked Amazon to remove these. We have been selling these items long before this company was even registered and have evidence of this. The IPO office automatically approve any designs, but it can take a very long time for these to be removed / cancelled. It does state on their website "Your invention must be: new - it must not have been made publicly available anywhere in the world"

We have tried explaining this to Amazon and provided evidence of this item being available before these guys wrongly registered a design that is not theirs. We have advised this is a breach of Seller conduct but we are not getting anywhere. We have started to take legal action but this can be takes months. Our account is now at risk of deactivation.

We have been selling on Amazon for a long time. The whole process is so open to abuse, that another seller (as a precaution) just recently trademarked 50 random designs with the IPO from images on Amazon for £90 and plans to do the same thing by reporting all competitors. This is how easy it is get other listings removed for a few months at least and amazon do not do anything

This seller will not get away with this outside of Amazon but it is a shame Amazon know about this abuse but do nothing
