Hi all,
I’m looking for advice or shared experiences on a situation we’re currently dealing with, which is causing major disruption to our business.
Our ASIN was removed from sale on 22 January 2025 due to a compliance discrepancy. We promptly resolved the issue and applied the required additional labelling. On 17 February 2025, via Case ID 10684920532, Amazon confirmed that reinstatement would be possible once all inventory was removed from fulfilment centres.
We created a removal order on 21 February for all 1,619 units, but 123 units were cancelled without explanation. Since then, we’ve had to submit four additional removal orders due to similar last-minute cancellations. Finally, on 19 April 2025, all inventory was fully cleared.
We immediately informed Amazon of the completed removal, but instead of reinstating the listing as promised, we received the following response:
"We are unable to reinstate the products as in accordance to our research, the inventory was not entirely cleared. All Selling Partners of this product must remove their defective units from the FCs until the inventory for the ASIN is 0. Please contact Seller Support team to get assistance. This case will now be closed, but we welcome you to reopen the case as soon as inventory has been cleared."
We are the sole seller, brand owner, and are brand registered. The inventory is confirmed to be 0, yet Amazon continues to deny reinstatement without providing specifics.
We’re now sitting on over £300,000 worth of stock, unable to sell since January, and our cash flow is under serious pressure.
If anyone has experienced a similar issue, successfully escalated a situation like this, or can suggest an effective way to push this forward, your help would be massively appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
