We want to help you understand the requirements for submitting proper documentation when using trademarked content in your listings. Here's what you need to know:

What You Need & Why

If you're using another company's trademark in your listings (including product images, packaging, or detail pages), you'll need to provide either:

  • Proof of trademark ownership OR
  • A valid Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the trademark owner

Essential Components of a Valid LOA

Your documentation must include these 5 key terms:

1. Licensor (company granting the rights)

2. Licensee (company receiving the rights)

3. Grant (specific IP being licensed and scope)

4. Geographic scope (authorized territories)

5. Term (duration of authorization)

Acceptable Documentation Formats

✅ PDF documents

✅ Scanned PDF images

✅ Word documents (only for self-declarations by IP owners)

✅ Email screenshots (must be from trademark owner's company domain)

Required Elements

  • Company letterhead of the trademark owner
  • Complete agreement terms
  • Authorized signature/stamp
  • If emailed: Must come from trademark owner's official domain

Additional Note: If you don't have trademark registration in your selling region, include a declaration of IP ownership with your company stamp or authorized signature.

We wonder if someone experienced similar issue like us;

We are writing to report a misleading and inappropriate Vine review on our listing:

Product: Organic Turmeric Curcumin Supplement

ASIN: B0DM8Z87YQ

This product was enrolled in the Amazon Vine Program, and one of the Vine reviews, dated January 28, 2025, by "xxxxxxx", includes off-topic and factually inaccurate statements that appear more like an attempt at corporate investigation rather than a legitimate product review.

The reviewer falsely claims:

Our company was dissolved in 2022 (untrue).

We have no legitimate web presence.

The organic certification and ingredient profile are not trustworthy.

Our company, Sigma Biotics Ltd, is fully active and registered, with verified UK company details on Companys' House.

We also maintain an official and fully functioning website

We hold a registered trademark in both the UK and USA.

Our products are manufactured in the United States, with proper certification and regulatory compliance proof already submitted to Amazon and approved before the product become available for sale as organic.

This review goes far beyond a customer experience or product quality assessment. It does not evaluate the supplement based on taste, efficacy, packaging, or use experience, but instead makes speculative and false assumptions about our company’s legitimacy, which is outside the scope of Amazon Vine reviews.

We are genuinely concerned how a reviewer focused on unfounded due diligence — rather than actual product use — has been accepted into the Vine program. It undermines the credibility of Vine as a trusted source of genuine product feedback, and reviews like this may discourage other brands from participating.

We respectfully request:

The removal of this off-topic and misleading review, as it violates Amazon's Community Guidelines and Vine Terms, specifically regarding relevance, factual accuracy, and focus on product experience.

A review of the Vine reviewer's conduct, as it reflects poorly on the integrity of the Vine Program.

We already reported this review and we also sent an email to community-help@amazon.com but unfortunately its been more than 2 months now and no response.

Any advise?

this is beyond a joke, my account was on block because of KYC verification

Now they have come back with the following:

We reviewed your account and the information that you provided, and we have decided that you may not open a Selling on Amazon account.

We leveraged a combination of automated means and expert human review to identify this issue and make this decision

Followed by :

We previously communicated that we started collecting VAT on your sales for goods delivered to customers in the UK starting 24-Mar-25, because you are not established in the UK for VAT purposes.

We completed our final assessment, and determined the final VAT liability you owe is GBP 33190.74.

Seriously.....

Any options other than letter before action for the 4k on hold and a trip to small claims court?

I had my account deactivated under section 3 for multiple account violations.

However, I do not and never had more than 1 Amazon seller account. The name on the account is my old seller name, which I updated over 2 years ago. Basically I added LTD to my original company name.

I've explained this to Amazon but keep receiving the same generic email, saying "We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time."

Can someone please help resolve this issue.

Impossible to speak with anyone.

I have just opened an account and have had nothing but trouble with getting verified, and now they have taken money out of my credit card before i have even listed anything, and if you want to contact anyone you have to do it via messaging, and they take forever to reply the whole system is so slow, and the people on the other end are so unhelpful, I no longer want to sell anything on this site and just want my money back and all my data deleted big mistake on my part, Anyone thinking of moving to amazon from ebay thing again, I will be closing my account and would like my full money back or i will report amazon transaction as a fraud.

Product variations split - 2nd time in a month

For the second time this month, hundreds of our products have split families. The last time this occurred, a moderator responded, took the case ID, and promised to keep me updated. Eventually, the listings were fixed. Could I please get some assistance and a proper explanation this time? The case ID is 11015860572. Seller Support via email/chat haven't helped at all.
