Hello everyone,

I'm really hoping someone here can help me out urgently. Over the past two months, Amazon has asked us to verify Establishment for Vaule Added Tax (VAT) five separate times. Every single time we've submitted exactly the same documents, and each verification was approved without issues. But then, just a few days later, the system asks for verification again! Because of this repeated verification: Amazon has stopped our payments completely for more than one month, and they're now holding onto over £20,000. Our selling rights have also been suspended for nearly a month.

We're a small seller, and this situation is genuinely breaking our cash flow. We're barely holding on right now.

We've already submitted all possible documents multiple times, including:

UK permanent residence card (I have permanent residence in the UK, although my passport is from different country, Payslips, Bank statements, Council tax bills, VAT returns and VAT payment records.All these documents clearly prove we are a legitimate UK-based business, and I've been living permanently in the UK for years. I've sent everything repeatedly to Amazon's VATsubmit department , but there's never any helpful response—just more requests for verification.

Does anyone know what's going on here or how I can finally fix this? Buyer has received the parcel after the claim was refunded.

We waited for the parcel delivery for starting our appeal. The tracking shows buyer has received the parcel and proof of photo shows that as well.

Buyer is elderly and unable to correctly email us through buyer/seller messages to properly write the email to us, however they responded to our email and also contacted us outside Amazon to confirm receipt of the parcel.

We do not wish to keep messaging them either as it is not great thing to do.

My appeal to reverse the claim was denied giving below reason by the claims team.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with more information regarding your claim on order 026-4788293-7945161. Upon further review, we have decided to uphold our original decision.

Why was my appeal denied?

We understand your concerns and would be happy to revoke the claim associated with this listing and recharge the buyer, but we can only do so by their direct request. We encourage you to contact the buyer directly regarding this claim. The buyer can then let us know the issue has been resolved.

How do we resolve this claim as they have also given us ODR. I want the claim to be reversed and ODR removed. However, I do not wish to keep contacting the buyer as they are elderly and do not know much how to use buyer/seller messages which is already complicated for people to use.

Bank account verification pending

I recently added a new bank account to my account for disbursements. I provided the bank statement required and it has now been over 2 weeks with no communication or verification. I’ve attached a photo for reference below.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sales drop in April 2025

Hi, has anyone experienced a sudden sales drop? And everything in my listing is working fine with no errors. I havn't had any sales in the last three days. I was doing well in the past month. I am selling paper bags with handles. Is anyone selling the same as me, or in the same category?

We all sell on Amazon, my question is who is the customer???

We have only the address details where the order is going,, we receive monies from Amazon less fees for the sale of goods.

Where do we stand from a legal stance, it appears to me Amazon is my Customer.

Has anyone got any idea how you challenge an IP complaint ( takedown ) on Amazon when its unjust and disputed.

There seems to be no way you can do it? The appeal process is all about sending a LOA from the rights holder who made the complaint but of course if you are in dispute with them we cannot get a letter from them. We ARE the rights holder as its our ASIN, its our brand, its trademarked to us, the ASIN is our barcode registsred to GS1. Its clearly our brand, our ASIN.

The complaining company allege it infringes their copyright but we had legal advice 5 years ago who disagreed and refuted their claims. In the time since - they have contacted us 3-4 times and each time we have fully refuted the infringement but offered to work with them to discuss it if needed. They have ignored each response we have had. They have never taken any court proceedings because they know its unfounded. They simply don't like our brand and IP which is loosely similar.

They have now removed 150 of our designs which are entirely our designs but there seems NO mechanism to challenge this.

When I read up on this - its very clear how to do this in the US. So in the US the takedowns are governed by this 'DMCA' law. If you challenge and dispute this using a counter notice DMCA ( under oath ) then you are saying to the complaining rights holder - we refute your allegation - you MUST start formal court proceedings within 10 days up to back up your allegation OR in the meantime the ASIN will be re-instated. This then would put us who defend the claim under risk of perjury if it was an unfounded claim of non-infringement. This is perfectly sensible approach I am trying to do. But how on earth do you do it in AMAZON UK - there is no button, no dept, no drop down box to actually do this - the appeals are simply get permission from the company who make the allegation. It makes no sense.

Online says whilst DMCA is USA law - most of the world - including the UK - by de-facto mirror this procedure. The world adopted it and its what a lot of take downs seems to be based on. But AMAZON UK the cases and appeals - seem to compleley ignore my attempt to serve this counter notice.

Does anyone know who and how you serve this DMCA counter notice OR how you challenge a rights holder who you dispute the alleged infringements. OR is there some similar way to make the case for a dispute?

I can see plenty of legal places online who I can pay to do this - but this seems ridiculous because I have already paid out £1000s to legal advice in the last 5 years. We have trademarks in place, design rights, and its crystal clear.

I dont see any place in the amazon website/seller central you can speak to anyone or serve this type of notice.

Every appeal and case seems automated and ignores everything I ask. I have sent dozens of cases to say the above - and no reply ever answers the simple questio of 'HOW DO YOU CHALLENGE A RIGHTS HOLDER WHO IS MALICOUSLEY AND REPEATEDLY DOING TAKEDOWNS which is basically against our companies legal advice?

By AMAZON taking these down, they are accepting witout any question or any checking up - that the take down is right. They are taking sides with ONE single rights holder. That makes any rights holder the sole JUDGE and JURY which is ludicrous?

There must be some mechanism in Amazon to challenge it - but does anyone know how? What dept, email etc? How?

We are on brand registry ourselves, and our brand is fully trademarked. The ASINs removed are fully registered and approced under UK design rights. Its madness because I cannot show the evidence to anyone?

Its really an ABUSE of the system because they have never taken this further as my legal advice and response rebuffed it. They are using the takedown mechanism to bully us as a smaller company and essentially try to put us out of business.

Any help is much appreciated as its paralysed my company now!

Hi guys, This is absolutely a huge plea for help, im beyond lost with this now, and i consider myself extremely computer literate, I work with alot of code , design websites and more, keep myself present on github, i know the ins and outs of everything about the internet, i can build, fix and do anything with computers, i know how to build a house from footings to roof from 10+ years of building experience but YOU KNOW WHAT I AM NOT CAPABLE OF DOING!?!? Fixing my amazon seller.

As seller central has no live chat and lets be honest no real support at all for people looking to sell on amazon, as everyone knows you have to go through the very meticulous process of submitting information at the hope its correct, wait for a week and get a message back with a templated messaged that includes links to stuff you've gone onto a 1000 times already.

I have been told I am connected to another seller account - I have gone through every single one of my emails and cannot find a single other seller account that's activated or present for me to access, Every other account i have when logging into the seller central UK, directs me to amazon pay or tells me the email has no account connected to it.

I have tried connecting my main account to other accounts using global accounts connection to see if that works, nothing.

I have tried logging into the amazon pay accounts and closing them but i can't close them without verifying information, one of the limits of verifying that information is having a valid website URL, seeing as i'm not going to spend time building website for every amazon pay i've accidentally opened or didn't use in the past, But as advised by amazon support, the amazon pay accounts have NO correlation to amazon seller!

The Weird exception to this rule here, is that amazon are telling me i have a 2nd seller account which is under the same name, MY CURRENT ACCOUNT USE TO TO BE - It's like the system has not registered that the accounts are one and the same just i changed the name and email address.

I've explained this in upwards of 20 support cases to which i get the same boring useless templated response telling me to upload information and PROVE HOW I HAVE NO CONNECTION - how do you prove how you have no connection to an account you don't have access to or does not exist.

im sorry, amazon live in a reality I don't.

Does anyone here, have a solution, some magical wand im missing, i am losing my mind

I cant reiterate to amazon anymore that i do not own, posses have or ever had a second account and they won't give me any further information so i can't do anymore.

I just want a blank slate at this point but i can't delete accounts without verifying them, the irony is, one of my amazon pay has 0 performance faults/notifications or health issues and it still wont let me close it.

Amazon Holding my Money - Account Level Reserve

hi everyone,

I have been selling on Amazon since May 2024, and in that time have maintained relatively consistent sales.

All of my products are shipped via FBA,

Recently Amazon have been increasing my reserve amount every single month, now to the point there is over 6k in reserve, I have contacted Amazon over 15 times in the last 2 months and have had 0 conclusion just the same automated response.

Has anyone else had this? I have no account health issues, no A-Z claims, no open charge backs so no idea why Amazon will not pay out,

This money is from over 3 months of sales so there is no reason for them to keep it it has all cleared and they just keep increasing the reserve,

Hope someone can help!
