My account has been suspended for over 31 days without any explanation or communication. This is a serious violation of customer rights and communication principles.

During this period, 281 of my products have been put into a dormant state, and I have not been informed about any actions or reasons. You are requesting their destruction or other procedures without any transparency, disregarding my rights and time.

Hello,

Since 2022, we’ve been selling on 10 Amazon marketplaces, including the UK, EU, and US. We’re registered in Brand Registry as well.

In March, Amazon UK initiated a KYC verification process. I uploaded the requested documents correctly, but they were rejected, saying they didn’t meet the requirements. I tried about two more times with different documents, but they were all rejected as proof of address. In one case, I had to wait a full month just to get a response.

Eventually, I decided to go 100% by the book: I requested an official, letter-headed, English-language proof of address from my bank, which fully complied with Amazon's requirements. However, instead of approving it, Amazon immediately deactivated the account and rejected the appeal.

I contacted support and asked whether I could open a new account on the German marketplace. They told me that yes, I could — as long as I used a different email address. I followed their instructions and created the new account. One week later, that account was also deactivated, citing a connection to the original account.

I feel like I’ve done everything I possibly could, and I’ve run out of options. We haven’t done anything wrong. We haven’t broken any rules. We’re just a small European business trying to survive among giants. We’ve always submitted everything Amazon asked for, and now we’re completely lost — and I don’t even understand what went wrong.

Wherever I turn, I’m treated as if I’ve committed some serious violation, and that’s why the account was deactivated. But that’s not the case. It’s not even that I didn’t upload the documents. I did — and Amazon never even explained what exactly was wrong with the last submission.

By the way, we successfully passed the KYC verification on Amazon US.

Is there anything else I can do?

We haven't sold any items using this account for the last 3–4 years and it was on the basic plan. We have a different account selling entirely different products. However, two days ago, I received an email from Amazon saying our current active account will be deactivated, apparently because this old account was deactivated due to missing credit card information.

I’ve now submitted the required documents. Does anyone know how long the approval process typically takes to reinstate a deactivated account?

Enforcement Clearly Made in Error

Dear Amazon Customer Support,

I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent deactivation of my account. I was informed that the account was deactivated due to an inability to verify my identity, despite my having submitted all required documents accurately and in accordance with the details provided at the time of registration

At the time of registration, I submitted accurate and complete business verification information. This included all required documents which were successfully verified by Amazon. Furthermore, when prompted again, I re-attached the Corporation Letter confirming the ownership details, registered address, and matching identity document (passport). All this information is legitimate, current, and fully verifiable.

There has been no ambiguity or misrepresentation on my part. If there were any concerns regarding these documents, I was never given a clear explanation or the opportunity to respond before the deactivation occurred. That in itself is a completely unfair and unjustified action. My business has come to a halt, my inventory is locked, and my only source of income has been shut down without proper recourse.

I am ready and willing to provide any further documentation required. But I insist on a full and transparent review of my case, as all facts clearly show that this enforcement was both premature and baseless.

I expect Amazon to treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and reinstate my account immediately. This experience has not only harmed my business but also shaken my confidence in Amazon’s seller support and verification process.

I urge you to escalate this case for an in-depth and fair reassessment.

hi

I have minimum and maximum price range for my product selling in UK. I wanted to use remote fulfillment by Amazon and activated other EU countries. And entered 29 Euros for each of them but when on Sweden i forgot their currency is Kr and similarly i put 29 there so it equals to 2 pounds i guess which is way lower than my COGS and FBA fees. So can i request something logical from Amazon now? When i changed my price below or above the min max prices it immediately deactivated my listings and sent me email. So why in this case they didn't do it and let it sell for 29 kr? I even contacted Amazon before the orders confirmed while they were in pending status. Now i ask for reimbursement from Amazon because they didn't take my minimum price into consideration.

We have over 2000 listings and noticed on Amazon marketplace yesterday that some of them will be delivered 20-22 May, but some others will be delivered 20-23 May. Those with 20-23 May have disgusting red writing stating “Usually dispatched within 2 to 3 days” (I call it a sale prevention).

We have one shipping template for all of the listings (RM 2-3 days). Default Handling Time is set to 2 days, with a cut off time 3am. All listings have 2 days set individually in Handling time too. Automated handling time was activated by Amazon (AGAIN) yesterday, but I switched it off yesterday (AGAIN). Our listings this morning still don’t show this change and we have two different delivery dates across all of our listings. WHAT AM I MISSING???

I've just had this notification from my Evri account manager after messaging him late last night.

"Everyone - we have been made aware of a recent Amazon billing issue where-by some recent transactions via tiers have been double charged. These discrepancies are currently being investigated with Amazon in aid of credits being issued to all impacted Sellers, of which will be visible again these transactions within 48hrs of submission."

BRCGS / GFSI issues

Hello all,

We are selling products that require compliance documents. Amazon is requesting a GFSI or HACCP certificate. So far we have uploaded a HACCP manual from our manufacturer, as well as a BRCGS certificate. The BRCGS Global Standard Food Safety is widely used and recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Yet Amazon keeps rejecting our documents, saying that they are not GFSI or HACCP certificates.

What are your experiences with BRCGS certificates?
