One of my FNSKUs has been incurring long-term storage fees since February. However, when we checked the sellable quantity, reserved quantity, and removable quantity, there is actually no stock available to sell or remove. So what inventory is actually generating these fees?

We've been contacting Amazon since February, but the issue still hasn't been resolved. Case ID: 10804296912.

Is this how Amazon unfairly charges sellers long-term storage fees?

Hello everyone!

In the past, we have read about errors during the listing creation process, where the EAN was previously incorrectly linked to a different ASIN. Therefore, we want to provide instructions on how to proceed in such cases.

You have two options:

  1. Choose "This is not my product" while creating the offer and contact Seller Support Services (SPS) to report the issue.
  2. Reach out to SPS directly, providing a screenshot of the conflicting error message and supporting documents.

Note: Providing the Seller SKU is crucial, even if the item hasn't been created or added to the inventory yet, as the exemption will be granted based on the SKU, EAN, and Seller ID.

Supporting documents:

If you are the brand owner:

  • A copy of the GS1 certificate, which shows the owner's legal entity and associated GTIN prefix.
  • Proof of the relationship between the legal entity on the GS1 certificate and the brand, such as trademark registration documents or a website owned by the brand, manufacturer, or UPC/EAN owner, clearly displaying the connection between the brand and the UPC/EAN owner.

If you are not the brand owner:

  • A letter or legal agreement from the manufacturer or brand, confirming that either the GTIN used by you is valid and owned by the manufacturer/brand OR that you are authorized to use your own GTIN to sell unique products with the brand.
  • The letter/agreement must include contact information for the brand/manufacturer's point of contact for verification purposes and if you are using your own GTIN, it needs a clear establishment of the relationship between your prefix and the brand.
  • Alternatively, if you use your own GTIN, you can provide a copy of the GS1 certificate, showing the legal entity and associated GTIN prefix.

18k in debt due to removal orders

So currently I have 18k in debt and removed all stock.

Big issue now is that it was way more expensive to remove the stock then I expected.

Now I have less money in my bank then the 18k. Also it was already borrowed money to begin with.

So if amazon comes after the company , my company will be declared bankrupt. And probably amazon doesnt get any or just a little money.

How can I get in contact with Amazon to make a deal so I can pay them an amount and not be declared bankrupt?

So far I had no succes in getting in contact besides seller central help Wich don't know a thing about this.

Hi folks

I deleted a Parent ASIN and made a new on (so i could better display the ASINs) and now i appear to have lost Vine reviews?

The child ASINs have not changed, only the parent. Do Vine reviews take time to move over to the parent?

Hi all,

A-z was opened got a message stating we had 72 hours to respond, we got all the information together and before we could submit it (about 12 hours later) buyer was refunded and a to z found in their favour.

we uploaded the images showing different item returned with different serial number, the appeal was denied, have contacted the managing director and we get no response other than to message if no reply in two business days.

Anyone able to advise.

Any one else notice in their account this year that damaged fba warehouse items get reimbursed now at ridiculously low prices compared to their retail selling price? in my case i have lego sets being reimbursed at cheaper than cost price and my cost price is ridiculously low!!! foe example just had a set reimbursed at 12£ when i bought it for 20£ and it sells for 57£ what the hell;? i'm seriously sick of amazon robbing us and i am so close to pulling the plug

VAT Exempt Items (kids clothing)

Good Morning,

I am thinking of starting to sell kids clothing and within the next 12 months I will be needing to go VAT Registered as i will be above the threshold.

Just wondering if anyone can help me and if i list kids clothing when i have to register for VAT will amazon automatically exempt the kids clothing from the VAT providing i list in the correct categories, or will i have to do it myself?

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here has been through something similar and can point me in the right direction.

WHAT HAPPENED

- I relied on Amazon’s Build International Listings (BIL) tool to auto-translate several hundred listings into Spanish.

- The translator inserted a word that turns out to be a registered trademark. The brand owner reported it to Amazon.

- Account Health showed multiple warnings, each marked “No impact.” Amazon then removed every affected ASIN.

- My Account Health rating stayed at 200, so—based on a phone rep’s advice that I just keep it above 100—I postponed dealing with it.

- Earlier this month Amazon abruptly suspended my entire seller account for trademark infringement.

WHAT I’VE TRIED

- Filed several appeals explaining that the offending term came from Amazon’s own tool and that all problematic listings were deleted immediately.

- Outlined new QA steps to prevent future translation errors.

- E-mailed and phoned the trademark owner multiple times asking them to withdraw the complaint, but they haven’t responded at all.

- Appeals keep getting rejected. Amazon insists on supplier invoices, a Letter of Authorization, and for the brand owner to withdraw the complaint. Because these are my own private-label items, I don’t have invoices or an LOA—this was purely a mistranslation.

MY QUESTIONS

1. Has anyone successfully reinstated an account when the infringement came from Amazon’s translation tool rather than deliberate misuse?

2. Is persuading the brand owner to retract the claim the only viable path, or is there another approach I’m missing?

3. At what point do I assume the account is lost and start over?

Any real-world experiences, sample POAs, or suggestions would be hugely appreciated. I’ve been selling for years and would hate to lose everything over an automated translation error.

We have recently registered our brand name on amazon. Our products have a trademark printed on them. Currently, our products are listed as Generic. How can I change the listing brand name from Generic to my own trademark brand name?
