Another holiday season is approaching, and we want to open a discussion on a Quick Tip: Enable holiday mode.

Sellers in other stores shared with us feedback that when you go on holiday and activate holiday mode on your account, you currently have no way to communicate to your customers the date when you will be back in operation and it causes inconvenience for both you and your customers.

We would like to collect feedback from you, which will help us identify any necessary changes.

We want to hear from you on the following questions:

• How many times a year do you go on holiday and activate holiday mode on your account?

• What specific problems have you encountered in not being able to communicate the return date to your customers? Have there been complaints, loss of sales, or anything else?

• What alternative solutions would you suggest, in addition to the automatic message (e.g., notice on the store page, push notifications to customers, etc.)?

We would appreciate your insights!

Expected weight is almost always completely off

Is there a reason for this? I know I can ignore the warning but I'm sending in 10 gaming controllers that are 4kg boxed. The "expected" weight is over 100kg. How is that even possible?

UK/EU acconts deactivated - Help needed

I need your help in getting my accounts reinstated.

All my UK/EU account has been deactivated since 18th October 2024. I have sent requested information which needs to be reviewed as the stock for the listing under review was sent to Amazon FC centre in January 2023 and hence the invoice is dated January 2023. Also the issue of quantity on the invoice from the supplier - 1 represents 12 units. Cost price stated on invoice is for 12units not 1 unit. The last sale of product in question was November 2023 and no stock at Amazon FC since November 2023. This is from a supplier I have been using for many years.

I am unable to contact the Account Health team as that option is not available to me currently. I get an error message on the page -" Sorry, you are not authorised to view this page"

I made contact with the team by the phone on 20th Oct 2024 - I was told to wait for a response from the review as an internal one has been raised and not to send any information through account health. It is now 4th November.

I have received an email today that states that they have not received sufficient information. My account is still deactivated.

This is affecting my business.

I kindly request that Account Health team let me know what further information they require.

Why, oh why do Amazon disable the ability to contact customers after dispatch? I've just realised one of my customers will be receiving the wrong product tomorrow and there's no way to contact the customer, other than "send legal documentation" or "offer refund"... No other platform does this.

Issue updating description and bullet points

I updated these but i hasn't shown on the listing.

I contacted seller support and they sent me this, but i dont understand what they mean as i did update it via manage inventry?? please see what support said below..

"For Description, Bullet points and speacial_feature,

I have checked and found that your requested attributes has been accepted in our internal tool, however you need to follow the process of updating the listing via Feeds or Manage Inventory.?

FBA Remote Fulfillment from EU (DE, IT, FR, ES) no longer works to allow available offers in the UK. This has worked for a long time but recently stopped.

After working with Seller Support, they informed me that under the setting menu, Fulfillment by Amazon, under "Shipping programmes and export settings", you select Edit for each country to see the "Shipping restrictions". In my case, it says "United Kingdom" is a restricted country. This is the case for all of the EU countries. (Note: Yes I have the shipping program toggled to "Worldwide", not disabled)

A requirement of Remote Fulfillment is to have FBA Export enabled, so in order to fix it, this FBA Export setting must not restrict the UK.

I've been unable to get any help from Seller Support to remove this restriction. I am not able to remove UK from this restricted menu myself by editing the setting, as it's grayed out for me.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a resolution? Your help and insights are much appreciated.

What's your go-to Halloween movie to watch this time of year? Any classic Halloween movies you always rewatch? Which movies give you the most chills? Or do you prefer comedies?

Aside from the classics which include The Shining, Exorcist, and Children of the Corn, there are great funny Halloween movies, like Beetlejuice, The Addams Family, Little Shop of Horrors.

I have really enjoyed Hocus Pocus, the 1993 Disney comedy. Hocus Pocus is darkly funny and the fabulous Bette Midler is always a treat to watch.

I listed a product and got approved once i sent in the usual invoice and photos. Sold out in a month, happy days. Since then, Amazon has rejected me on everything!

Send in proof of the items, invoice etc but just keep getting rejected with no real answer yet asking asking for someone to explain why? the usual generic answer.

Items bought from UK Wholesaler for resell.

I find it ludicrous to say the least that amazon expect me to spend ££££s on goods, some of which are not refundable, just to obtain an invoice. Then to be told that sorry you still cant sell that product. Its an EXPENSIVE NIGHTMARE. There should be a way of checking prior to spending money if you will be accepted for that brand.......JIMMY CHOO in particular.

I just signed up as a new seller on Amazon Seller Central. My credit card is verified across all marketplaces (UK and EU), but I still can’t access anything. I keep seeing a pop-up window with the message "Invalid charge method".

Has anyone experienced this before, or can someone guide me on what steps I should take to make my payment method valid?

I really am at my wits end with Amazon at the minute, why is there always new issues every week, i'm starting to give up. I'm now facing multiple issues, i sell printed t shirts...

Issue 1: Any listings that ive uploaded that are in multiple colours such as black and white, are giving me errors in the variation part when i go to edit listing, yet any t-shirts that ive put on as a single colour, i can edit those perfectly. See below

Yet this t-shirt below which is a single colour does not give any errors yet both are using the same data it makes no sense...

^ Does anyone know how to possibly solve this?

Issue 2: Amazon added care instructions to one of my best selling items which has now caused big drop in sales & over spending in ads, why would amazon decide to add 'Hand wash, Do No Tumble Dry, Iron Carefully' without even telling me? I did not have any care instructions entered so if amazon wanted me to add care instructions why didnt they suggest it to me rather than entering false information. The t shirt can be washed by any means, can go in the tumble dry, iron carefully is fair because you shouldn't iron over the print obviously, but why on earth would they add this? I know i can edit the listing and add my own care instructions (hopefully) which is what i'm trying to do but this reflects on my first issue because i'm getting errors in the variation tab for some reason. This isn't the first instance either on some of my other t-shirts theyve added Care Instructions: Do No Iron ... who's going to buy a t shirt that says do not iron in the description, it's ridiculous. I've been on to amazon seller support and asked them to remove it for me because i can't update the listing due to the variation errors and they said .. Before we can process and respond to your request, we need you to provide us with one of the following valid documents:

- Manufacturer's or Publisher's (for books) website URL clearly showing the suggested changes, along with visible product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.), if available.

- Manufacturer's catalog (Product User Manual), either scanned image of the physical catalog or PDF version showing the suggested changes, along with visible product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.), if available.

- A high-resolution photo of the item in its original packaging showing the product identifier (UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.) code and the attribute or attributes that you need to change.

Why should i have to go through this to get amazon to change false information that they have put there? It's a joke. I'm my own manufacturer and brand, i only sell on Amazon, so i don't have a website to show suggested changes, i don't have a catalog because my catalog is on amazon and i have a picture of the item in the package but what does ''attribute or attributes that you need to change.'' mean? So basically just put a sticker on my item with the correct care instructions and then amazon 'might' change it for me, no doubt they'd want more information anyway. It's ridiculous, amazon you added it there so you take it off and stop making me jump through hoops.

Issue 3:

These last 2 days ive had a few listing policy variations pop up saying bullet point removed, however when i check it's not actually removed any bullet points, these are the bullet points i use on every listing i have ....

  • Do Not Iron Over Print
  • All Prints Are Made Using The Latest DTF Technology
  • High Quality Print With Excellent Durability
  • Regular Fitted T-Shirt

^ also don't understand why it says its only removing bullet points from those 2 sizes yet not all the other sizes on that listing? and as you can see above it's not removed any bullet points, ive checked the bullet points in the parent listing and the child listings and there all the same as i have them, i used to have bullet points removed when i'd put 'Fast & Free Delivery' because you cannot put this due to amazon policy, but that bullet point was actually removed from the listings yet and when i changed it the violation dissapeared, yet this time it doesn't seem to be removing anything so what's going on? there's nothing wrong with those bullet points above is there? Did something recently change regarding bullet points i may have missed? I've had to delete 10 or so listings just to remove these Listing Policy Violations from the account health page.
