Greetings!
My shipment shipment creation has been blocked and it shows (IEN Missing - Import Record Required).
However, when I click to download the list of non-compliant shipments, there is no shipment number within the file.
After communicating with the Amazon support team, they have stated that as of 1 May 2025, the FHDDS reason code ‘My item has been imported, but my customs broker or logistics provider has not provided the required IEN’ will no longer be available. Sellers will have 60 days to provide a valid Import Enumeration Number (IEN). And this time limit is within 1 year.
I have double checked our shipments to the UK and all of our shipments within the 1 year period have had their IEN's successfully completed and the shipment management shows ‘Import details complete’.
We checked all our shipments again and found that only four shipments in 2023 showed ‘Import entry number closed for editing’ (one of them is cancelled), and these shipments are all purchased from the UK, no import means no IEN, and I can't do IEN editing and submission for these four shipments at the moment.
I am very frustrated and confused by Amazon's restriction on creating shipments, and really hope that you can help us resolve this issue. Case ID 11085196762
