Holiday Mode

So, I've sold all stock in my inventory and want to take a break from Amazon. I'm not currently on the professional plan, so I am not paying membership fees as I'm on the individual plan.

The last batch of products had a thermometer in and became HAZMAT, which caused too many problems. So my next batch will not contain a thermometer. Do I need to delete the listing and start again when going from HAZMAT to non-HAZMAT?

It will be a long break, maybe some months. Should I simply close the listing, reopen it later, and request that it not be HAZMAT anymore? I think that option will see my product go into reserve again while they evaluate it, which I don't want, for sure.

Then there is holiday mode. I've heard this mode doesn't retain things like sales rank, page rank, etc. So, if that is true, I may as well start again with a fresh listing.

This was my first batch to sell, and I only have one review. Seems not easy to get those.

I think it's gonna be easier and safer to just start again with a new listing. Any opinions on this are welcome. Thanks.

I have had all my inventory removed and sent back to me apart from 50 Items which were Missing!, I have sent countless requests to find out where my products disappeared to with no reply. My account is now closed and I received a final notice disposal order. I cannot get into my inventory to see what is happening as I have been blocked until I reinstate my account.

Please assist I need the inventory to be sent back to me and not disposed of.

Calculating Fees and profits

Hi

3 images are attached. The Revenue Calculator image shows, I suppose it's a best guestimate, which just about matches the final statements of the Transaction Details page.

But I have two questions:

1: In the Revenue Calculator I input zero for VAT. As the amounts seem to be correct, does that mean that the customer has paid the VAT? And where can I find invoices for each sale detailing this?

Those two were question 1, lol.

2: In the fourth image attached, Customer Shipping Sales, I have noted that some customers are paying for shipping, whilst the majority are not. Why is this, and why does it appear as a payment to me?

Those two were question 2, lol. I may be cheating with the number of questions I promised, but...

Rules for Insert Information & Shop Naming

Hi.

I'm realising just how hard it is to get reviews, and would like to add an insert into the next batch of my products, asking the customer to please leave a review. I'm aware that I cannot instruct them to leave a 5-star review or give them any incentives, but am I allowed to put the name of my massage shop in Phuket, Thailand, on the insert, for example? Perhaps with some pictures of my shop customers in the shop. To try to build brand awareness of my Amazon shop's health-conscious branding.

Also, am I allowed to name my Amazon shop after my massage shop? I believe I can name it whatever I like, can't I?

Refunds to customers

So, this customer, highlighted in the image, purchased the product at 89.95, then two days later saw my product in a sale at 29.95. He got a refund then then purchased the product on sale. Kind of unfair, as I seem to have lost money because of it.

So, please help me understand the Amazon fees column of 12.41, and the Total column of 77.54. I'm not clear on the process or how the money thing has been played out. What happens to the product? Did I lose money, and if so, how much? Did Amazon charge me for having the order returned? Does this data mean that the product was delivered and then returned, or did the customer cancel the order before it was shipped?

Sorry, I don't have a pound symbol on my keyboard.

Hi all,

I registered as a individual account, Europe seller on Amazon. Anyway i've had nothing but so many issues along the way.

Firstly I verified my account and payment and withdrew funds to go into my account. This was fine and no issues, received confirmation from amazon to say itll take 3-5 working days for the funds to appear. Now I cant take the funds out all of a sudden because my account hasnt been verified!!! Now theyve said itl take 15 days, however i managed to withdrew funds before.

Second issue, Automatically I have been set up on a professional platform for USA, Canada and Mexico without my knowledge and consent and I am told that there is nothing that can be done. Apparently if I want to sell on Amazon, I have to sell with a professional plan? Is that correct?

How are these guys allowed to take money off you without your consent? Makes 0 sense.

Should they even be allowed to change your account to professional without your consent?

Any help is appreciated. I am a new seller here too.

Does anybody know why I should get this message on my "front page".

Amazon must know my phone number as they use it every day to send me the OTP code for me to log in.

I would suspect a scam but I would think that that would come by way of an email rather than coming direct to my amazon account

Currently dealing with another funny one who is threatening to go to the police unless I "REFUND NOW!!!!!!!!" his order. He claims it was not delivered, tracking shows it was. I know this is a very common scam on Amazon.

We are not meant to take this seriously are we?

Dispatch was on time. Delivery was on time (within Amazons time limits). Postage was the one the customer selected.

Remote Fulfillment/EFN fees

Hi guys,

I was enrolled in EFN when Brexit first happened then I unenrolled because of the fees.

I sell in all EU markets, I ship my stock to France and then use the partnered carrier to ship part of my stock to the UK, my products are in Pan EU.

In the last few weeks I've been getting emails about remote fulfillment, I just followed the link and it seems I've been enrolled in all EU countries? Even though I cancelled it years ago? And use PAN EU?

I'm trying to find info on the EFN/Remote fulfillment fees, but I can't see anything on Amazon, does anyone have a link to this?

Just confirming - there is no need for this service when using Pan EU right? Or am I missing something?

Customer claims INR but the tracking shows they have it. They then say that the package arrived completely empty and of course - Amazon just believe them despite no evidence shown.

Surely the fact that they changed the theme of the complaint when challenged... this should sound alarm bells .. and put the burden of proof onto the customer. Whats the point of tracking when people can do this so blatantly. Its not like this is a mistake or a misunderstanding to make the assertion in the first place.
