Heads Up
by Seller_tHDZMh56pq7gX

Just a heads up for fellow sellers, just check your handling time again, as it looks as though Amazon have decided they know better than me for my handling times and put it back on automated as same day dispatch.

I didn't realise they had access to my diary and daily whereabouts!!

Amazon - stop making these changes - you are affecting our (your) metrics.

In the last couple of weeks, Amazon has changed the default placement of where Sponsored Products campaigns appear from on Amazon to 'Amazon and beyond' "sites".

"Sites are where specific ad placements can appear. These can be websites or apps.”

The two available Sites options are now "Amazon and beyond" or "Amazon Business".

So without any announcement, or ability to opt-out, all Sponsored Products campaigns have now been transitioned to 'Amazon and beyond' and your ad budget is being spent (at the same bids) on random websites and apps.

There is currently no report available to see where your ads are now appearing, or even what the potential list of websites and apps are where ads could show.

There is no ability to opt-out, and when you create a new campaign you also only have these two options.

If you've noticed your ACOS suddenly increase, this is very likely the reason why.

Even for Amazon this is a new low, with no transparency or ability to opt-out. You're now paying for ads on some random website or app, with likely no intent, at the same cost. Shocking levels of deception.

Blocking Buyer Messages whilst on Holiday
by Seller_fw9LFwa3Z2sVB

I noticed that Holiday settings do not allow you to stop receiving messages from buyers whilst you are away. Are there any other Amazon settings that temporarily close your account and block buyers from sending messages?

Hi all,

I’m hoping someone else has come across this — I’m seeing repeated £2.50 “Carrier Delivery Label Adjustment” charges from Amazon on shipments sent via EVRi using Buy Shipping, where:

The item is under 1kg

I’ve entered valid dimensions and weight

The carrier-audited values match exactly

I’ve already been charged for the label (typically £3.00)

Example:

For one order, I declared the parcel as 45 × 35 × 16 cm, 1000g.

The actual item was much smaller (522g, 14 × 2.6 × 21 cm), but I over-declared to be safe.

Amazon charged £3.00 for the label — then later hit me with a £2.50 surcharge, citing “Carrier delivery label adjustment due to under-charged delivery label.”

This is now happening across dozens of orders, and after reviewing just a week’s data, I’m already seeing £500+ in unexplained extra charges.

It seems to happen specifically when using EVRi through Buy Shipping, and even when all the entered and audited data match.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I've raised a case with Amazon, but would love to hear from others before escalating.

Any experiences or advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Amazon setting my inventory to zero
by Seller_Z55BgheLRnVFw

Hi fellow sellers,

Amazon is automatically setting our inventory levels to zero across nearly all listings. We use a verified and integrated external software solution to manage our inventory and pricing. This system regularly sends updates to Amazon, and we can confirm — through Batch ID logs and internal reporting — that the correct data (including stock levels and prices) is being transmitted as expected. However, the Amazon system does not seem to be reflecting these updates. As a result, our listings appear as active, but the available inventory is shown as zero, which completely halts our sales. This is not an issue of inactive or suspended listings — the listings themselves remain active. The core problem is that the stock and pricing data is not updating on Amazon's end, despite being sent correctly from our side. We have reviewed this matter internally and also found that other sellers have faced similar problems in the past. This suggests a potential systemic issue within the platform's update mechanism.

Has anyone else dealt with a similar issue?

Did Amazon eventually help you fix it?

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Buy Postage RM not being Offered
by Seller_G9pOHlPaw0WqP

Just tried to buy RM label via Amazon buy shipping and all I'm being offered is Evri drop off. Apart from the fact it would cost me over £2 extra there is also a 10 mile car journey involved. All I'm trying to post is a LL book which according to the drop down menu RM is not able to take? My only option at the moment is to take a hit on metrics and put stamps on it

Hi,

I've noticed in the last few days that DPD have been added as an Amazon partnered carrier for Small Parcel delivery into FBA warehouses.

I have booked 10 boxes on as a test. However I cannot seem to be able to book a DPD collection, as the DPD tracking numbers aren't recognised.

Anyone managed to book a collection?

Thanks in advanced

Suspended account
by Seller_WB7houTb6LEmY
Amazon replied

Hello Amazon seller supports, please help I need more explanation to push forward like this advise from JillyB qouted (This is a complex situation, and none of us here can really advise satisfactorily. You should not have opened a second account when the first one could not be verified. The only way is to reactivate the first and then close the second. What is your home marketplace ? UK, or elsewhere ?) This question is followed properly by me. When my seller account could not be verified successfully in Amazon UK. I wrote in to the support I want to close my account. I was told to do so. I successfully closed my account in North America even tried the same process at other market places but that of UK didn't close. Six months later after I was referred to the financial ombudsman for their evaluation. Somebody told me my books are still selling at the North America. I searched it and found it. That made me to reopen the seller account in the year 2019 hence no disbursement to me. Now in the year 2021, the account health department stopped accepting further appeals from me. Like if I click on submit New appeal it's not working. I went back to close the account again and waited 6 months no pay off. So not to lose all I have to open the second account and published more books in there. Some of the friendly supports could no longer advise me as the new account got deactivated according to section 3 of Amazon seller policy. My big question is, should Amazon withold a pay off from a seller they don't want. I did all the necessary thing's to be paid off when I closed my first account and the second account was successfully verified in the year 2022. Please I need some more help and guide to this from Amazon support statt. It's painful to labor in vain. Even now I cannot trace the first suspended account to login.

IOSS Issue in France
by Seller_2MDS66zdjPMUU

We use RM Click & Drop for all our sales. I understand this ensures that the up to date Amazon IOSS code is used.

I believed that the law ruling on customs charges identifies AMAZON as liable for collecting and paying the import duty (recovering the cost prior to funds disbursement to the market trader).

While this appears to work well for most of Europe with the Amazon IOSS code appearing on the CN22 lable correctly, La Post has recently been sending import charges to the recipients of our orders. Orders to other countries using the RM system appear to be unaffected.

If anyone could clarify what might be happening I would be grateful as our customers are quite rightly as puzzled as we are.
