Recently we have seen threads addressing issues with listing translation. We want to open discussion about this topic by sharing tips with the community.

Did you know that Amazon offers several easy ways to automatically translate your product listings for selling in different countries and languages?

Are you looking to expand your Amazon business globally? One key step is to translate your product listings into the languages of your target markets. Amazon offers several tools to help sellers do this efficiently. Let me guide you through the options.

Translate One Listing at a Time If you just need to translate a single product, you can do it right from the Manage Inventory page. Simply find the listing you want to translate, select "Edit", and then scroll down to the "Manage offers in other stores" section. Here you can select the additional Amazon store(s) you want to list in and enter the translated details like title, description, etc.

Translate in Bulk with Inventory Templates For translating your entire catalog or multiple listings at once, you'll want to use Amazon's inventory file templates. Download the "Multi-Store Listing" template, fill in the translated details, and then upload the file. Amazon will automatically create or update your listings in the target stores.

Use the Build International Listings (BIL) Tool The BIL tool is a real game-changer for global expansion. It allows you to connect your "source" store (e.g. UK) to one or more "target" stores (e.g. France, Germany, etc.). From there, Amazon will automatically translate your listings, create new product detail pages if needed, and keep prices synchronised across stores.

The setup takes a bit of work upfront, but once it's configured, BIL handles everything hands-off. Just make changes to your source store and Amazon will propagate them internationally. It's a huge time-saver.

Pro Tips:

✔ Review translated content carefully before publishing. You want to ensure accuracy.

✔ Consider adding a "Sold by" field to your listings so customers know your location.

✔ Be aware of any legal or regulatory requirements in your target markets.

✔ Translate one product at a time - You can use the edit product page to translate an existing ASIN or add a new ASIN and translate it. This allows you to selectively translate products.

Please share your experience with listing translations in the comments!

We recently received "Inaccurate Categorization" policy violations. The crazy thing is the product in question was 100% created in the correct category but due to some necessary wording in the product title Amazon's wonderful automation misunderstood this wording and decided to change the category and then give us the violations. I have explained this several times in the appeal, but sadly as is often the case with Amazon the appeal gets denied in a matter of nano-seconds with no detail or further guidance. Can a mod please escalate this for me? I feel it would be dishonest of us to provide a plan of action to stop this happening again when in fact we did nothing wrong.

@Seller_j9Bd91CW3ZVpr@Seller_XUNeUuvrQDpgP@Seller_mIRnuhdx7l5sN

Guys need your help,

I'm facing an issue, where Amazon has issued a trademark misuse/IP violation on my listing for a SE****UN product.

At the time of listing, “SE****UN” was not available as a brand option in the catalog, so I used my own brand name “CA*****RA” to proceed, while still clearly mentioning correct product details & images.

Amazon accepted the listing after reviewing multiple compliance issues (ingredients, pharmacy-only flag, etc.). Till this time same Listing was INACTIVE, But later checked it got ACTIVE & very next day suddenly flagged it as an IP violation, even though:

A) I never claimed to own the Selsun brand.

B) I only used the brand name I was forced to due to Amazon’s system limitation.

The listing is still active as of 15 May 2025.

Despite explaining this, seller support keeps sending copy-paste responses asking for a letter of authorization or to change the brand — when that wasn’t even an option to begin with.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any advice on how to get real help or escalate this properly?

I need help, @Seller_j9Bd91CW3ZVpr@Seller_XUNeUuvrQDpgP@Seller_mIRnuhdx7l5sN

Thanks..Bhim

Lost premium Shipping options due to VTR rate
by Seller_2oAtlj7UwEmtU

Hi,

I have lost my eligbility this morning on my premium shipping due to my VTR rate dropping. However I ship all items using buy shipping, nothing has been sent outwith buy shipping across the last few months at all. Does buy shipping no longer protect your VTR rate if you use CRL 24/48? Sometimes the tracked options are not avaliable as Amazon seems to think tracked 48 takes longer than CRL 48 for exmaple.

Its frustrating as its Amazons fault for sometimes taking off Tracked services saying they dont meet required delivery promises and then Royal Mails fault for not scanning CRL mail everytime

I have submitted a plan of action but I would just like clarity from an admin or mod as to wether buy shipping no longer validates CRL 24/48?

Suspended and deactivated account
by Seller_WB7houTb6LEmY

i have a suspended account in the year 2021. When I could no longer accept further appeals as much as I can write I opened a new account in the year 2022. The second account was successfully verified in Amazon UK then deactivated few weeks later same year 2022. I have felt so bad and abandoned even as I have no access to get advise from UK seller support. Now the first account deactivated since 2019, I don't have access to log into it in UK. I closed the account successfully in the North America. Please I need someone to guide me on way forward. Amazon is always writing me to update my credit card information but doesn't attend to my mails to reinstate my account.

Two days ago I got a reply from a seller that I have to close the second account. The first account is like lost to me for I have no access to log into it since 2022. I can't even determine if the first account was hacked hence the UK seller support doesn't respond to my mail. Please what will I do.

Peace be unto you all

False A-Z resulting in ODR and refund
by Seller_s9KNnxjDTYNS4

We have had a customer put an A-Z in for an undelivered item reason below:

'Package didn't arrive' and customer comments;

'Customer comments: Is anything missing? Yes. What's missing? The entire package or received empty package. Did your address change? No. Reason Code: NOT_RECEIVED'

The item has been delivered with the POD image and the customer signature, this info was sent to the customer and they said they never sent for an A-Z claim and called us liars etc etc..

Sent a screenshot of the A-Z claim that was submitted with 'customer comments' and again they said they never did this, I explained to them that this was unlikely as it is usually triggered by a buyer contacting Amazon, however I can understand how the use of Amazon and contacting sellers via the messaging centre can be confusing etc..

They eventually agree to contact Amazon to remove the A-Z claim, which after about 24hrs it was.

Then this morning we have had an email saying;

'Your account has been debited the original shipping amount for order 206-1557330-1374740. This is because you did not refund the buyer for those costs.

As the buyer returned the item you are required to refund the original shipping costs'

Firstly, we are only required to refund shipping costs if the item is faulty and returned, of which the appliance is NOT faulty, and has NOT been returned?!?!'

Why have we been charged for the shipping costs we have passed on from the courier to transport a 55kg box over 1.5m long over water to the customers house, for no apparent reason or proof.

Amazon Overselling Products
by Seller_b1uMRg2cAnaOX

Recently I've noticed we're having more and more issues with Amazon selling more units than they are told is in stock. Does anyone else have this issue?! Any tips on how to stop it?! I'm getting tired of cancelling orders and getting bad reviews because Amazon decided to sell 12 units when there's only 10 available for example! Not happening on all lines, no specific routine for which items it's happening to either

Hi,

I’m hoping a moderator can help as I’ve been scammed and there seems to be no proper way to get the proof of delivery to the A-to-Z team.

A buyer in Sweden used two separate Amazon accounts to order the same item from me, around £400 each. Both were sent tracked to his home address, but they ended up being delivered to a local Co-op service point. I suspect he had them forwarded. He then waited until both parcels were there and collected them on the same day.

After that, he claimed the packages were empty and opened an A-to-Z claim. But here’s where it gets sneaky, he contacted me from one account, and opened the claim from the other. So when I asked Amazon to check the message history to see that he acknowledged receipt, there were no messages showing, because they were on the other account.

A few days later, he repeated the same thing with the second order, but this time Amazon denied the claim, and I believe the account may have been banned. So clearly something was flagged.

The issue now is that Amazon keeps upholding the first claim, even though I have clear proof of delivery showing the parcel was collected with signature. But there’s no way to attach this proof directly to the claims team.

I’ve done everything right, and I have evidence, but there’s no channel to send it to the right team. I simply can’t accept a £400 loss to a scam like this. I'm really trying to communicate with Amazon and resolve this properly, but there’s no clear way to do that, and I genuinely don’t want to go through the dispute resolution or legal route at all, but right now it feels like im not being given an option :/

Orders -

403-9259206-4273120 - This is the order in question that Amazon shouldnt have refunded.

402-4600318-4161160 - Amazon correctly denied this one.

Thanks,

@Seller_XUNeUuvrQDpgP

Hello,

We have been invited to sell on Amazon and to open an account on Amazon which we (painfully) did and finally passed KYC verification and then listed our product after a long battle as they were already in the amazon database. We are the official brand operator in the UK of our products.

and now that we are finally ready we get the following message :

"We are not accepting applications to sell: Other Health & Personal Care category in Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s). Other Human Ingestible products in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)"

and product are not restricted as we saw some old resellers offering them without any issues

can someone help ?

regards
