I have my GTINs from GS1 (a completely new GS1 account as this is a new brand on Amazon) and completed the required details for a new listing. However, upon submission, I keep getting the 5461 error code.

This is despite having received brand approval already.

The error screen prompted an additional dialogue screen for review submission. So, I did that and provided all necessary information and images. Despite this, my submission was rejected and I was told the GTIN I provided was not valid. I’ve double-checked and that’s not the case. It's valid. I spoke to the people at GS1 and they confirmed this.

I have a trademark pending and would also like to sign up for Brand Registry, but one of the requirements for that is providing an ASIN for one of your products. But I can't do that because I can't get past the 5461 error to list anything!

I've done everything by the book, but I'm completely stuck. Can anyone offer some advice. I’ve tried using Amazon help desk, but that hasn’t helped.

I am writing to understand how we can improve our Fulfilled-by-Merchant (FBM) performance when the issue is caused by couriers like DPD.

We always ship orders on time, but recently, DPD failed to collect parcels from us, even when they were ready at the post office before 12 PM. This has happened twice in the last few weeks, which will hurt our FBM performance and delivery promises. This can happen to any of the courier, UPS, Fedex etc and not just DPD do this on a random day! UPS did not collect the FBA shipment from us for 5 consecutive days, had to rebook collections everyday until collected. they were struggling with drivers on leave or sick in this area, whatever the reasons but gave you the example that its not just DPD!

On eBay, as long as we ship on time, our performance isn’t badly affected. However, on Amazon, we’re penalised when couriers like DPD miss collections. For example, two weeks ago and again last Friday, DPD did not pick up parcels, so we expect another negative impact on our metrics.

We’d like to know why this is fair or transparent. Why are sellers penalised for delays caused by courier companies?

I am messaging here in the hope an Amazon moderator can look in to this for us as we are flatly refused a resolution via the A-Z appeal and Amazon seller support. The buyer in this case returned the wrong item for a refund, order ID 205-0306167-9114720.

We have documented proof in the Amazon message thread where the buyer states they returned an item different from the one purchased. Their actions directly violate Amazon's policies regarding honest returns and proper use of the A-to-Z Guarantee. This claim was wrongfully granted and the resulting account defect is unjustified, as we fulfilled the order correctly and acted in accordance with Amazon's policies throughout the process.

Who do we contact now for the following

Reassessment and reversal of the A-to-Z Guarantee decision for order 205-0306167-9114720.

Immediate removal of the associated defect from our account metrics.

Consideration of this buyer’s misuse of the A-to-Z process, as it undermines the trust and integrity of the Amazon marketplace.
