In Stock Rate Metric

Hi

Our In Stock Rate Metric (FBA Dashboard) within 24 hours has gone from 99.35% to 67%. We have checked the Restock Inventory Report and Asin History and I cannot see any reason for why the metric has had such a drastic fall (*all items on FBA are in stock). We have been an FBA seller for 4 years now (make our own items) and even with 1 item going out of stock we have never gone below 80%

All I get from seller report is to check the above report - which isn't telling me anything as it's all correct and as normal.

Am I missing something obvious? Anyone with any idea what else I could do to investigate this.

Hi everyone,

We’re currently trying to list a new product under our brand – a “Running Vest with Water Bottle” – but are facing an issue with the Product Type and Recommended Browse Node during the listing process.

The system is only offering one product type, which is unrelated to our item.

Ideally, our product should fall under:

Product Type: Hydration Vest – Hydration Pack

Category Path / Browse node: Sports & Outdoors > Sports > Running > Hydration Packs

However, the only Recommended Browse Node being displayed is for “Motorcycle Accessories & Parts”, which is completely irrelevant.

This not only will affects the visibility of our product but also prevents us from proceeding with a properly categorized listing.

We’ve also tried using the “Get help and resources” section, but it requires a SKU to proceed — which we cannot generate until the correct category is selected.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue when trying to list a niche or specialized product? If so, we’d really appreciate any advice or workaround that helped you resolve it.

Hi Amazon UK Support,

I created a ne UK seller account, but Amazon also created new US and Canada accounts, which I didn’t request. I already have an existing US and Canada account, and now I can’t link the new UK account because of the duplicate US account.

Can you please:

Explain why this happened?

Help remove the new US account so I can link the UK account to my original US account?

Blocking Buyer Messages whilst on Holiday

I noticed that Holiday settings do not allow you to stop receiving messages from buyers whilst you are away. Are there any other Amazon settings that temporarily close your account and block buyers from sending messages?

I woke up today to my account being deactivated for a product I bought direct from the manufacturer (a pregnancy test) To be honest we have not sold it for a couple of years, so maybe they are just randomly checking our invoice.

I've only sold 4 units of it, and I have an Excellent Voice of the Customer Rating.

I've appealed with the invoice, so hopefully it's sorted.

But this is a genuine mistake and I don't know why they have deactivated us we have never had a violation, the violation is not even showing in Account Health, just received a random notification at 3am with no context.

Why is this happened and how can I stop it from happening again?

Hi everyone,

Our account was recently deactivated after being wrongly matched with another seller account located in the same serviced office building, but in a completely different unit (we're Unit 16, they’re Room 106).

We’ve submitted multiple appeals with full legal documents (rental agreement, company registration, VAT certificate) proving we are unrelated businesses — yet we keep receiving the same automated response.

We’re completely stuck and losing business daily.

Has anyone experienced this and managed to get a real person to review their case? Any advice or escalation paths that worked for you would be hugely appreciated.

Amazon can just steal your FBA stock

I have used FBA for over 10 years, I have come across all of the problems and shortcomings of using FBA. This is a new and very worrying issue. Amazon tell me that I made an error on my most recent shipment. They say that the ASIN in the shipping plan does not match the product sent. As the error was made by me they are keeping the all of stock and I can’t make a claim for the loss. They are keeping nearly 3K worth of stock at cost and there is nothing I can do about it. I don’t believe that I made an error and they have not given me any evidence that I made a mistake. I just have to take their word that it was me that made the mistake and not the FC doing it wrong. Amazon feel free to help yourself to all of my stock.

Due to the value, I will be sending them a letter before action and to the small claims court.

I just wondered if anyone else had seen this issue?

Hi

My Amazon uk account has been deactivated for alleged links to another account which belongs to by brother. His account was deactivated for reasons I am not aware of as he is a totally separate entity. Either he accesses his account through my laptop or I might have entered his address by mistake which led to this deactivation. Amazon is asking for proof. I don’t know how to prove that his account is not my account. This is the truth.

Hi all,

I’m hoping someone else has come across this — I’m seeing repeated £2.50 “Carrier Delivery Label Adjustment” charges from Amazon on shipments sent via EVRi using Buy Shipping, where:

The item is under 1kg

I’ve entered valid dimensions and weight

The carrier-audited values match exactly

I’ve already been charged for the label (typically £3.00)

Example:

For one order, I declared the parcel as 45 × 35 × 16 cm, 1000g.

The actual item was much smaller (522g, 14 × 2.6 × 21 cm), but I over-declared to be safe.

Amazon charged £3.00 for the label — then later hit me with a £2.50 surcharge, citing “Carrier delivery label adjustment due to under-charged delivery label.”

This is now happening across dozens of orders, and after reviewing just a week’s data, I’m already seeing £500+ in unexplained extra charges.

It seems to happen specifically when using EVRi through Buy Shipping, and even when all the entered and audited data match.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I've raised a case with Amazon, but would love to hear from others before escalating.

Any experiences or advice appreciated.
